Aloha, I’m Joseph — but most couples know me as Officiant Kona Joe.

I married my first couple in 2025, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping couples celebrate one of the most meaningful days of their lives. I bring a genuine sense of joy, faith, and Aloha to every ceremony I lead, and I believe that each couple deserves a wedding ceremony that feels personal, heartfelt, and true to who they are.

I was raised Catholic and educated in Catholic schools, and I have a special passion for performing Christian wedding ceremonies. I also offer non-denominational and Hawaiian-style wedding ceremonies, creating a meaningful experience that reflects each couple’s beliefs, values, and love story.

My approach is simple: I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and completely present in the moment. I’m naturally optimistic and bring a calm, compassionate presence to every ceremony. Whether you’re exchanging vows on a beautiful Kona beach or celebrating with family and friends, I take great care in making your ceremony feel warm, genuine, and memorable.

My wife, Deanna, is the owner of Kona Wedding Officiant®, so I’ve also had the opportunity to be part of the Kona wedding community for years. I understand how important the little details are and how much goes into creating a wedding day that feels just right.

I’m available for phone, Zoom, and email consultations and am happy to get to know you, answer your questions, and help you feel confident about your ceremony.

I look forward to hearing your story and being part of your wedding day.

With Aloha,
Joseph “Kona Joe”
